These 6" x 6" hand painted trivets/hot pads are made from a ceramic tile that is painted with a combination of house paints and artist paints. They are created by a process in which paint is poured across the surface of the tile. Once cured, they are sealed with a protective resin that can withstand temperatures up to 450°. They are completed with a 3/16" cork backing. The colors in this trivet are in shades of blue and aqua to create an ocean design. As this is done with a paint pouring method, no two tiles are exactly alike. To clean, wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Protect your counters and tabletops and brighten up your kitchen with this vibrant, gleaming piece of functional art!
